Any student in one of my seventh grade Reading classes may earn up to 20 bonus points during a grading period by writing a 55-word short story and submitting it at least one week prior to the end of the grading period.                     1. Stay on task.

                    2. Raise your hand to talk.

                    3. Be prepared for class.

                    4. Be respectful.

                    5. Be on time.

                    6. Listen and follow directions.

 

The consequences of obeying the Classroom Expectations are a better, more positive learning environment and greater academic success. The consequences of disobeying the Classroom Expectations as follows:  1. student is given a verbal warning, 2. student is placed in classroom timeout, and 3. a discipline referral is made.
