Ethical Use of Photographs
Photos are a creative work. The person who created the work owns the copyright. If you were to use the photograph in any way you need permission of the copyright holder.
However, if you are using the pictures for educational purposes “fair use” comes in to play. If you are using the photograph for educational purposes only – you do not need permission from the copyright holder if you give CREDIT in good faith to the owner of the copyright.
In order to give credit to the copyright holder you should properly cite the source of the work. They easiest way to do this is to create a citation in Noodletools. If you need a password reset see Mrs. Rose. You need to create a new list in Noodle Tools and select MLA Advanced. When you select a citation type you need to scroll down to Audiovisual.
